- May 2009...I've wanted to be a portrait photographer since age 6, when I snapped my first photo - a late afternoon shot of my dog Murry. I studied photography in college but a natural penchant for writing landed me in the newspaper business where I spent my days (and many nights) writing feature stories, and covering crime, government, business and education. When my son was born three years ago I happily left the conventional workforce. Now I'm realizing my lifelong dream as I establish Tanjie Nash Photography. Follow me as I detail my journey.
